Man this is great timing. I've recently gotten a comic made and reviewed by two parties. Already planning a local con appearance with merchandise and everything. Will have to bookmark this to read again in a few months, a lot of great advice in here!

I also went into The Marvels with no expectations and it ended up being a fun movie. I agree that the villain was so generic (as if they had cut her entire backstory other than that 15-second flashback) and they keep putting so many of Carol's major plot/character development points offscreen or in flashbacks that it dulls her overall story arc. Loved the dynamic though between the 3 Marvels.
