Was waiting to read this! Glad both booths did well at the show, and great seeing both of you!
From my experience this year, it seems like Artist Alley gets a big rush at open (for those people looking to get commissions or remarques), and then picks up again around 3:30/4, with the middle of the day being the time that most people tabling go off and do other things (like paneling or doing commissions in the back). A lot of people had 11-1 and 4-6 slots listed at their tables.
Definitely agree that you see a big rush in the beginning -- granted the rush is mostly people who know exactly who they're looking to see and aren't roaming the aisles yet.
And while it varied, we saw the big pick-up in the early-to-mid afternoon.
Definitely makes sense why a lot of artists would specifically choose those timeslots to be at their tables.
Congrats on the show and on Oliver! Suddenly I read your brand as: Feline Comics. :D
I have to talk Kat into rebranding as "Feline Comics" 🤣 -Phil

Likewise, it was great to see you!

Thanks for reading and sharing your own findings!

Well done guys. NYCC is no joke and 2 tables a massive logistical challenge. Glad it worked out for you!
Thanks, Mark! It was a challenge, but ended up being a lot of fun. We're glad we took the Monday after to recover with zero work commitments haha.
